Digital Currency Policy

This Digital Currency Policy forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to all users of CSSkill.com, operated by Haugset IT (“the Company”).

1. Nature of Digital Currencies

The Platform may issue digital engagement units, including but not limited to:

  • Performance Points (PP)
  • Reward Tokens (RT)
  • Experience Points (XP)
  • Any future virtual tokens or credits

These units are virtual, non-transferable, revocable licenses for use solely within the Platform.

They:

  • Have no real-world monetary value
  • Do not constitute electronic money
  • Are not financial instruments
  • Are not cryptocurrencies
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Cannot be withdrawn
  • Cannot be sold or transferred outside the Platform

The Company retains full ownership of all virtual units.

2. Acquisition of Digital Currencies

Digital currencies may be obtained through:

  • Participation in Platform activities
  • Achievements and engagement
  • Promotional events
  • Subscription benefits
  • Purchase of RT packs with real currency

Purchasing RT grants a limited, revocable license to use the digital units within the Platform. No ownership rights are transferred to the user.

3. Use of Digital Currencies

Digital currencies may be used for:

  • Participation in promotional features
  • Cosmetic profile upgrades
  • Entry into giveaways
  • Engagement features
  • Other in-platform utilities

The Company reserves the right to:

  • Modify earning logic
  • Modify redemption logic
  • Adjust pricing
  • Introduce expiration policies
  • Limit maximum balances
  • Cap usage per transaction

Without prior notice where necessary.

4. Expiration & Revocation

The Company reserves the right to:

  • Expire unused digital currencies
  • Adjust balances in cases of error
  • Revoke units obtained through abuse or manipulation
  • Reset balances upon account termination

Digital currencies are forfeited if an account is suspended or terminated for policy violations.

5. No Refunds

Unless required by applicable EU consumer law:

  • Digital currency purchases are final
  • No refunds will be issued once units are credited
  • Unused balances are non-refundable

This does not affect mandatory statutory consumer rights.

6. Market Fluctuations & Virtual Items

Where digital currencies are used to obtain third-party digital items (e.g., skins):

  • Availability is not guaranteed
  • Market prices may fluctuate
  • Substitution may occur

The Company reserves the right to substitute equivalent items at its discretion.

7. Abuse & Manipulation

The Company may:

  • Reverse transactions
  • Remove digital balances
  • Disqualify users
  • Terminate accounts

If manipulation, fraud, automation, or abuse is detected.

Decisions regarding abuse are made at the Company’s sole discretion.

8. Regulatory Position

Digital currencies are designed solely as engagement tools within a closed-loop ecosystem and are not intended to function as gambling instruments or financial products under EU law.

Users are responsible for ensuring participation is lawful in their jurisdiction.
